For over 30 years Janet Chase has treated incontinence in children and adults. She currently works in a multidisciplinary team as a clinician and is involved in research. She was involved in writing the curriculum of the post-graduate continence physiotherapy course at the University of Melbourne, and with Debbie Rechtman, teaches the paediatric component. Janet helped set up both the paediatric continence clinic at the Royal Children’s Hospital and Monash Medical Centre. She has served as a member of the Australian Government National Continence Management Strategy Advisory Sub-Committee, and presently is Chair-person of the Paediatric Advisory Sub-committee of the Continence Foundation of Australia, a Director of Continence Foundation of Australia and a Board member of the International Children’s Continence Society.
